SERVICE SCOPE
Divide the structure by material, height and access.
Scope options to discuss
- Specified structural and façade surfaces
- Accessible columns, ledges and building features
- Protection of adjacent finishes and work zones
- Surface-condition and access review
Agree these items separately
Structural repairs, corrosion treatment, recoating, internal equipment cleaning and hazardous residues need separate specialist assessment.
Your written quote defines the included tasks, exclusions and responsibilities.
ACCESS & SCHEDULING
Fit the work around your facility.
Timing and access
Identify pedestrian routes, occupied areas and equipment positions. Height, access restrictions and suitable weather can determine the sequence of exterior work.
Before the site assessment
Provide elevations, photographs, surface materials and previous coatings. Mark damaged areas, working heights, nearby plant and any areas the owner cannot release.
SERVICE QUESTIONS
Before you request a quote.
Is cleaning the same as restoring the structure?
No. Describe staining, damaged coatings or corrosion separately so cleaning and any remedial work have distinct expectations.
Can different façades be phased?
Provide an elevation-by-elevation scope and the access available for each. Equipment, protection and scheduling can then be assessed for separate work zones.
