SERVICE SCOPE
Plan around the carpet condition and the next time it will be used.
Scope options to discuss
- Open carpeted areas and circulation routes
- Entrance lanes and heavily used patches
- Identified spots and stains for assessment
- Accessible carpet edges and agreed furniture movement
Agree these items separately
Furniture relocation, odour investigation, adhesive removal and damaged carpet are separate considerations. Stain removal and restoration of worn fibres cannot be assumed.
Your written quote defines the included tasks, exclusions and responsibilities.
ACCESS & SCHEDULING
Fit the work around your facility.
Timing and access
Allow for cleaning, drying and reopening. Fibre, backing, ventilation, soil level and the selected method affect the return-to-use plan; a fixed drying time should be agreed only after assessment.
Before the site assessment
Share carpet type if known, approximate area, stain photographs and prior treatments. Identify furniture that must remain in place and the latest time the space can reopen.
SERVICE QUESTIONS
Before you request a quote.
Will every stain come out?
Some marks are permanent changes to the fibre or dye. Photograph the affected areas and identify the substance where possible so expectations can be discussed before treatment.
Do we need to move all furniture?
Agree which items will be moved, who will move them and whether cleaning underneath is included. Clear small personal items before access.
How soon can staff walk on the carpet?
The return-to-use window depends on the carpet, method and site conditions. Include your opening deadline so drying and access can be planned.
