SERVICE SCOPE
Separate the everyday routine from the periodic work.
Scope options to discuss
- Reception, meeting rooms and accessible work areas
- Washrooms, shared kitchens and replenishment responsibilities
- Vacuuming and care of agreed hard-floor surfaces
- Waste collection to designated on-site collection points
Agree these items separately
Carpet extraction, exterior windows, high-level work and consumable supplies should each be identified in the quote. Secure desks, documents and restricted rooms need clear boundaries.
Your written quote defines the included tasks, exclusions and responsibilities.
ACCESS & SCHEDULING
Fit the work around your facility.
Timing and access
Build the task list around occupancy: frequently used washrooms may need a different routine from meeting rooms or storage areas. Specify whether daytime, evening or weekend access is possible.
Before the site assessment
Send a floor plan or approximate cleanable area, washroom count, opening hours and your current checklist. Include alarm, keyholding and waste-room access arrangements.
SERVICE QUESTIONS
Before you request a quote.
Can we compare quotes against our existing checklist?
Yes. Include your checklist and mark any tasks you want added, removed or performed at a different frequency. Ask for routine work and periodic extras to be priced separately.
How should we scope several offices?
List the address, floor area, access hours and tasks for each office. A shared reporting format can be discussed while keeping each site’s requirements and availability explicit.
Are cleaning supplies included?
Identify who provides chemicals, equipment, washroom consumables and storage space. These responsibilities should be written into the agreed scope.
